- Alternate Director to Encik Mohamad Idros Mosin
Encik Edree Ahmad, 41, a Malaysian, is the Alternate Director to Encik Mohamad Idros Mosin. He was appointed to the Board on 15 June 2023.
Encik Edree joined Permodalan Nasional Berhad (“PNB”) as Management Trainee in 2005 and has held various positions within the company since then. From 2006 to 2013, he served as an Executive in the Corporate Services Department at PNB. In 2013, he was promoted to Manager, Corporate Services/Private Investment at PNB where he managed the private investment portfolio. From 2017 to 2019, he served as a Manager in the Public Equity department. In 2019, Encik Edree was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Public Equity at PNB. In this role, he had greater responsibilities in managing the public equity portfolio in PNB. In 2020, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Strategic Investment in PNB.
Encik Edree is currently the Vice President of Strategic Investments at PNB since 2021. He is responsible for overseeing the investment of PNB in the Industrial & Motors sectors.
Encik Edree holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester and a CIMA Diploma in Islamic Finance. He attended the Palladium Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard Certified Programme.
